For teenage tearaways, reactive dogs, or those looking for private, in-person support.
In-person support is available in West Lothian, and surrounding areas including: Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc. Additional mileage charges may apply if more than 15 miles from Broxburn.
About the program:
Do you have a teenage tearaway? This is a term I use, affectionately, for dogs aged between 6 months and around 2.5 years old. This is when their adult brains are, literally, re-wiring and all sorts of weird behaviour can happen!
Reactivity is a blanket label that we attach to dogs, when they display a range of behaviours. Reactivity is better defined as an over-reaction to, what we would consider, a normal stimulus (trigger). This often begins to happen as your dog enters adolescence, for a variety of reasons.
If any of this sounds like your dog, then the 1-2-1 dog Training program is for you:
-
Barking loudly, at passers by, or lunging at them
-
Snapping and growling at other dogs
-
Aggressive behaviours.
-
Stopping chasing behaviours, such as cars, cyclists, kids etc
-
For others, it may simply be that you'd prefer to have 1-2-1 training, rather than attend classes
We'll meet, ideally in your home environment, if your dog is comfortable with that, or in the garden, or a neutral venue if not.
